This is the car that started it all (https://racer.com/2016/10/20/throwback-thursday-a-look-at-the-riley-daytona-prototypes/). This is the first Gen 1 Riley DP to score a win. Campaigned by Wayne Taylor and Max Angelelli in the 2004 Grand Am season. It was sold to Southard Motorsports and was run by them 2005-2007. It sat dormant after they upgraded to a Gen 2 DP in 2008. I purchased the car in 2012 to run the car is NASA, SVRA and HSR. It has participated in several HSR Classic 24 raced at Daytona.
The car has a freshly rebuilt Emco transmission and carbon clutch with 0 hours. It comes with two Lexus/TRD 5.0L race motors. Motronic ADL dash. There is a Life Racing paddle shift system (not currently installed). There are multiple spares including body panels with spare wing, BBS and Fiske wheels, Penske shocks, fresh brake rotors and pads, Brembo carbon/carbon brakes with titanium calipers with some life left, center dash, complete uprights and suspension pieces, fittings, hoses and miscellaneous parts to keep her on the track for a long time.
