1999 BMW M3 Coupe, Full Cage, 5-Speed Manual Transmission, 200k Miles, Silver + White Two Tone
Please note that this is a track car: it's registered PNO and is not legal to drive on the street unless registered. It must be towed, and it's currently being stored on a trailer (which could be included in the sale). I'm happy to answer questions but I'll be ignoring inquiries that seem sketchy or disingenuous.

The car's service history is available and will be provided to the buyer. This car has been on a trailer since 2019. It was serviced immediately before storage at which time the flex disc was replaced and it was given the usual post-event brake fluid flush. This isn't a show car, there are some dents and dings and the paint job is probably 6/10.
The car is on a 2015 Featherlite 3110 trailer with a curb weight of 2,100 lb. The trailer is 20' long and 8.5' wide. The trailer is not included in the sale price, but could sold as a package.
Because it's been sitting it will need service before returning to track duty. I'm receptive to offers. Vehicle is registered PNO (Planned Non-Operational) so it must be trailered, but before that it was being driven on the street and passed its last smog test. The trailer is also for sale, I would happily make a deal for the two as a package.
History:
In 2016 I bought this car from a seller in Sacramento who claimed to be a mechanic (that should have been a red flag). Previously the car had been owned by an SCCA member and has a distinctive custom two-tone paint job. After purchase my mechanic discovered a major cylinder head crack that was covered with JB Weld at the back of the motor, very hard to see. I opted for a new cylinder head which developed cracks and leaked immediately. My mechanic then found a high mileage replacement head that was tested and installed without further issues.
Over the next 2-3 years, between track days, the car was upgraded and outfitted with safety equipment, mechanical improvements and a big brake kit. Some of the parts such as the seats, struts and camber plates were taken from a friend's 95 e36 M3 that was totaled in a crash. My goal was to build a track car that could perform well on California's hot tracks all day and offer as much driver safety and comfort as possible.
Happy to provide more photos or details. Thanks for your time.
