Rare, no sunroof late 1985 model 944 built for PCA's SP1 Class or NASA's 944 SPEC. Straight body with no crashes, only a small wrinkle on the left front fender.
Some argue this is the best year 944 that combines the narrow-offset suspension of the early cars with the oval dash and most importantly the safer. rust free plastic gas tank of the later cars.
The narrow offset allows you to run the steel lower front control arms (which are on this car) that have the easily changeable ball joints as opposed to the later aluminum arms with the integral ball joints. No issues on tracks like Laguna Seca even with 92db days! Not street legal but can easily be put back to street legal.
