Originally built with the intention of Auto X and road course racing in mind. I hate doing this and I'm in no way in a rush to sell, but the medical problems that I've sustained from my time in the military and the V.A. have made me do this. I don't feel that I can safely race anymore and would rather someone else have fun with it like I did.
This truck originally was a long bed, however, 1 foot was cut out, dropping to a 7 foot bed, which we called a bastard bed because no one wanted a 7 foot bed. The bed and frame is fully covered and powder coated, with compartment access in 3 locations for the air tank, battery, fuel cell and storage compartment.
Some of the components of the truck:
- N/A 6.2l LS3 525 crate motor.
- 4 speed 4L60E transmission w/ B&M Shifter
- Ford 9" rear rend with WaveTrac built by Western Differential
- Watts Link Suspension
- Earls UltraPro 16 Row oil cooler
- Porterbuilt Level 2 rear dropmember
- Cold Case direct fit, dual 12" fan aluminum radiator
- Aeromotive A1000 Stealth fuel cell
- Wilwood 4 wheel disk brakes and master cylinder
- Klein Model 6350 3 Gal air compressor with Train horns.
- Aldan American Coilovers
- C4 Corvette front end
- Door pillar and cab supports from Year One
- Front and rear camera on an outdated stereo deck.
- Fully boxed Frame
- Rear cutoff switch
- Front Tire: 275/40ZR18, Rear Tire: 295/40Z18
- Much more (Lots to list)
This is a truck you have to see in person in order to appreciate the time and effort put into its creation. The truck currently has under 6k miles on the power train. The body work is not in the best shape, but it's structurally sound and I've always thought it gave the truck character.
All metal work, including roll cage was done by Mark Hanson of Strange Fab Metal Crafts in Tucson AZ. Truck was built by Brian Edwards of A&B Automotive, also in Tucson.
Asking 55k OBO. Please no lowballers. I will also discount the price if a veteran buys it. Over 80k in parts and components have been put into it. Any questions, please feel free to ask.
It's also street legal, with the right tune...or if you live in an area without emissions.
