The Pontiac 24x setup provides any ECU with a crank & cam signal in 24x/1x square wave (3 wire hall effect) patterns. Parts are all bolt-on and setup tooling is provided to help ballpark initial settings. You have freedom to choose your
fuel tank w/ in-tank pump, EFI ready intake, throttle body, injectors, ECU, coil packs, fuel rails, & injector sizes to suit your engine. You can use the GM LS (0411/ P59) ECU or most other aftermarket ECUs (Holley, Haltech, MS3, etc.) if desired. The setup consists of a camshaft synchronizer & crankshaft trigger, sensors & brackets, 18.1 SFI balancer & composite distributor gear. All hardware, setup tooling & detailed instructions included. Add our GM D585 Coil Mount Bracket Kit and Throttle Cable Bracket with this kit for complete setup.
We are looking at wiring harness options. Due to the ability to integrate it with the car, we are seeing what layout works best overall. For instance, harness is run differently depending of the battery is in the trunk or in stock location. Also, if the user wants the AC controlled by the ECU or not. The more the ECU knows, the better efficiency is to be had.
