1971 Plymouth Duster. This car has always been raced and came from a great race family in Division 5. I acquired it in 2012 and set about learning the ins and outs of bracket racing. It has been a great journey, lots of fun and made many great friends. The engine is a small block with many great quality internals. W5 heads. Last refreshed by Lee Brothers in Red Deer Alberta. It has 13:1 compression and runs on 108/110 . It was dynoed in Edmonton making 670 hp with small tube headers. I run 3" on it which may produce a bit more hp
It has a Power glide transmission with transmission brake and line lock. The trans is a professional race glide that can handle much more hp . It has the thick aluminum
case that doesn't require a trans shield. It
has an aluminum driveshaft the lead to the
4 link rear end with a Dana Super 60. Runs 4:56 gear. Best time at our elevation is 10
0. The car is a consistent low 10 car. The tires should be good for another season. I had her painted a few years ago and wanted a color that it could have been in 71. I chose Lemon Twist with factory stripe. Turned out well. It has an AL7 box with new wiring to the reworked aluminum dash.
The car has been lots of fun and great memories, but now it should go to someone that can enjoy what I have. Lots of great passes left in this car. The roll bars are tied in from bumper to bumper which allows this car to lift straight up without any roll and come down smooth and straight.
I don't want to give her away, but ask questions and make an offer
Thanks
