1967 Mercury Comet Caliente tribute drag car for sale; this super stock drag car - a tribute to legendary '60s drag racer Jack Chrisman's own 1967 Mercury Comet - took four years to build and is powered by an aftermarket Genesis 427 CID Ford side oiler currently at 482 CID with a Ford C6 automatic transmission with reverse valve body. Car is retrofitted with a Mustang II front end with coil over shocks and has a Moser 9" Ford rear end with 4.56:1 ratio in a back-halved S&W rear frame kit. Refer to pics for more detailed information on this car. Car has clear NJ title.
