Looking for some serious power at a great price? Look no further! This 370ci boost-ready LS long block is designed to easily handle more than 1,000 hp. The AFR, LS3, 6-bolt, 12-degree valve angle castings provide great airflow and were built to handle boost. Our process for machining these heads includes CNC porting and combustion chamber machining on our 5-axis with CNC valve job and bowl bowl blend on our Newen CNC seat & guide machine (see Engine Machining playlist on our YouTube channel @borowskirace.com). The short block is a seasoned GM 6.0L block that we have re-machined on our CNCs to far tighter than the original GM tolerances. In this boost-ready build, we use a forged Callies Compstar center-counterweighted crank for additional strength, stiffness and reduced harmonics. The crank is paired with Compstar rods. Diamond Race Series dish pistons (-2cc) complete the short block with a compression ratio that makes it pump gas friendly under boost on pump gas.
The COMP hydraulic roller cam is designed for boost, and brings maintenance-free operation. Valve train stability and longevity is enhanced with a bronze trunnion kit.
