1929 Ford original steel Roadster body on original 32 ford frame rails. Car was originally built in 1972 by Joe Stocker and run with a gas 392 hemi. Later it was bought by Les Leggitt and run with a gas 426 engine, In 1978 it was bought by Tom Perris and Bob Easton. It was run with a 417 Donovan then changed to a Keith Black Hemi in the Mid 1980's. The Roll Cage and tin work was done by Dave Uyehara (Drag race chassis builder and fabricator) all the body work was done by Hank Bisetti ( did all the body work on Al Teague's race cars). It also has Hank's famous east LA widows peak on the top of the grille shell. This car was the fastest hiboy roadster on the salt for a very long time! It has made over 10 passes at Bonneville salt flats over 275 MPH and one pass in 1991 at 297 MPH. Still currently hold AA/BGR at El Mirage 234.663MPH. The car has fresh paint, powder coated chassis, and chrome, with lettering by Dennis Jones. The engine is a fresh 496 CI Keith Black Chrysler Hemi, with a Lenco two speed overdrive trans, and an SPE nine inch full floating rear end with 2.47 gear and Wilwood disc brakes. The engine has a Mooneyham 14-71 blower Enderle Fuel system, Mallory Magneto, AFT 3 disc clutch glide. It has an older racepak 3000 data logger also has blower started with 2 battery packs. Comes with A TON of spare parts: Blowers, pistons, rods, pumpkins, cams, lifters, gaskets, sets of wheels and tires, oil, 100's of spark plugs, intake manifolds, push rods, valve springs, valves, clutch, spare Lenco 2 speed trans for El Mirage, and lots more!
