I am selling my 944-Spec race car. The car is mechanically sound and has been nothing but good to me for the past 7 years. The motor was built by pine tree motorsports, and has roughly 60 hours on it. If you're just getting into racing, this is without a doubt the most affordable and easiest way to dive in. If you're an experienced racer, the 944-Spec crowd is competitive, friendly, helpful, and just generally awesome! If you're not looking for a spec series, this car can easily slot into NASA GTS or SCCA ITS.
This car just took two first place and one second place finish at Gingerman with a mediocre driver (me). It is an absolute blast to drive - you can't not have fun racing this car.
The frame is straight, but the body is in need of some smoothing out and a new wrap or coat of paint, which is reflected in the price.
Comes with a pile of miscellaneous spares and 3 sets of tires (one set of fresh Proxy RRs, one set of 15+ heat cycle RRs, and an old set of rains). I am also willing to sell my 18' enclosed V-nose trailer (21' total interior length) for an additional fee.
