We have a special offer for drivers interested in purchasing an SGP2 car and/or competing in the 2025 Super GP Americas Championship. On December 16-18th Mexico holds its largest race (next to the Mexico F1 Grand Prix) at Hermanos Rodriguez Formula 1 circuit in Mexico City. This is a 24-hour race. The Copa 1.8 (cars used in SGP2) class is the largest class.
Team Tornado Racing, a two-time Copa 1.8 Championship-winning Team who recently won the 6-hour race in Mexico this year and is owned and managed by Super GP Americas Senior Tech Director, Edgar Torres is making a special program for interested drivers. This is an excellent opportunity to experience the SGP2 (Copa 1.8) car under actual race conditions.
The cost is amazingly low at just $1,950 per seat for a 3-4 driver team. This includes everything but your personal safety gear, transportation to Mexico City and hotel. However, your transportation to and from the airport, hotel and track are included.
We have reserved hotel rooms at Hotel Raizor Aeropuerto, Which has been designated as the Team Hotel for 3 years and room nights are $104.25 / night (taxes included). We highly suggest arriving on December 15th with departure on December 19th. We will hold a team dinner on December 16th.

On a Sunday or Wednesday in mid-November we are planning to hold a test day at the Autodromo Miguel E. Abed race circuit in Puebla, Mexico for drivers interested in purchasing an SGP2 car to compete in the Super GP Americas Championship. There will be three cars for sale in attendance for interested drivers to test. The total cost for the test day is $1,500 USD. This cost will be divided and shared by the number of drivers attending. For example: if we have three drivers testing the cost per driver will be $500 USD and so on.
In the event that a driver or team decides to purchase one of the cars at the test or purchase a new car, the cost of the test day will be free. The cars we will have at the test are three identical Copa 1.8 (SGP2) cars (as pictured here), each with only ten 30-minute races on them, never crashed, completely gone through and prepared by our Senior Tech Director and 2-time Championship winning Copa 1.8 Team owner/manager prior to delivery and available at $19,500 USD each delivered in the US following the test. New cars are available at $29,500 each.
Drivers can fly into Mexico City airport the day prior to the test day and fly back the day after. We will provide transportation from the airport to the hotel and back as well as transportation to and from the race circuit. We can assist in arranging hotel rooms where everyone can stay in the same hotel. Drivers will need to bring their personal safety gear.

Super GP Americas is a new professional sports car Championship that features ten 35-minute sprint races at 5 popular circuits in the eastern half of the US in 2025. Races consist of two classes, SGP1 exclusively for the Sebeco NP01 EVO prototypes and SGP2 exclusively for the Copa 1.8 touring cars, which make up the largest racing class in Mexico. Full season costs for the SGP2 class are projected to be under $45,000 with a total Prize Purse of over $185,000 in cash prizes and awards.
