This is a copy and paste from the other thread.

Raymond called me after I emailed him that he was being tossed about in the forum section. He lives not far from me, I have never spoken to him before, so this isn't a "buddy lie".

Very, very nice guy. Talked for 15 min or so, he told me his side of what happened. I was blown away at what was left out of the original post by badstage1!!
Badstage1 will have to show some really good proof to make me believe his story. As ya'll have stated in your posts, I told him the same thing, "you couldn't buy that 'vette needing a resto for $15k". I know he knows that, I just wanted him to know, "we ain't stupid". So, badstage, looks like it is put up or shut up time.

Like I said Raymond, email me anything you want. I will be more than happy to post it for you.

Default upset by not knowing how real men trade

i know raymond & have traded with him several times we have become good friends he is as straight as they come & when we deal we do it & its done (period) thats the way men trade we dont trade & than find out our wifes or mommas were not happy & than they start crying ,if i trade with anybody on here & the car blows up going out the drive way "oh well" thats what men do & 5 months later thats crazy if every body that traded found out they were not happy 5 months later they need to just trade again & buy your wife a truck & quit whining or quit trading badstooge

Ad # 1615357
this guy just posted another ad, someone really needs to let him know that he truely is a cry baby.. the car sat in his barn/garage for awhile and then some guy from FL told him it wasnt worth what he put into it, now he wants ray to give him his truck back.. lol.. are you kidding??
A TRADE IS A TRADE, YOU GO LOOK AT THE CAR YOURSELF, ONCE YOU PULL OUT WITH THE CAR, ITS YOURS!! NO NEED TO CRY ONCE YOU GET HOME OR MONTHS DOWN THE ROAD!!
bring the vette to me, id be glad to own it!! (i wont even cry about it)
he keeps saying people are warning him about ray and all this shit, thats a bunch of BS.. anyone and everyone that trades, .. KNOWS THAT SOMETIMES YOU GET THE GOOD, AND SOMETIMES YOU GET THE BAD, YOU JUST MOVE ON TO THE NEXT TRADE, THATS WHAT GROWN MEN DO!

a deal is a deal, i will probably never own a corvette new/old
but if i would have come across this deal, i would have jumped
on it and the car ran to boot, cheese pizzas, i need to be on
the look out for a deal like that

agreed. 5 Months??? Come on!!! I think Mopar said it well... "Get Bent" would be my attitude too.

JMO: a 63-67 Sting Ray is very desirable & can bring some decent money. In good condition, turn key, stock form/resto, I could see it being worth more than 30K... depending on the variables. I would love to have one!!

Man the drama is amazing here sometimes!!
