Drove through the Springs on our way home from vacation in Canyon City this afternoon. We gave up one of our rooms last night because of the wave of refugees.
This morning at breakfast I sat next to a family of 6 watching their home burn to the ground on live TV! The father was VERY calm the mother was blank faced. I asked if they needed anything before we left. His reply was I have everything I need at this table pointing to his family. Sad Sad stuff.
Read through all the posts on that thread, sad schitt guys n gals. I have absolutely no doubt that terror cells have started MANY of these fires. It's already been said that many are' man caused'. Al Quada (or however you spell it) had sent out instructions for fire starts in the western U.S.. I said 4 years ago that we need to be VERY aware and PREPARED for this very thing.
