YES I would probably paid twice that to get my car back. Rather than get screwed.
He may have got cold feet, and backed out? But why not just say that? Then go from there instead of making up a story. If the Tbucket was blown up, like John or Johns son originally stated,(Im gonna tell you up front,we found water in the oil yesterday,no use to lie about it.My brother must of took it out and blew it up without dad knowing) then hell yes Im glad I had a driver that ask to inspect it instead of a drop off pick up driver. And yes Im glad I only lost $350 instead of more or even worse ending up with a car with motor problems.
He paid to have the Tbird delivered to him. That was our deal. The driver ask for it when he got there.I paid to have it returned, because of the story about the blown engine. If in fact the engine was blown, and he just found out the day before, again he could have called or emailed me before my car ever left. If it was blown the whole time and he was'nt expecting an inspection before pick up then he was trying to get over.
But if My driver would of called and said John didnt like your car and felt it was missrepresented, then I would have talk to John and ask him how he felt it was missrepresented. If I felt in anyway that I did missrepresent it then I would of paid shipping both ways, no questioned ask.
But I guess we'll never know the answer to this one.He refuses to answer my emails or phone calls. He refuses to get on here and explain.
Like I said Im willing to file this one under doing business on line the way I choose to do it. And like some said, It may seem stupid to do business that way to them. And yes, your asking for trouble by doing it this way.But seriously Ive never had a problem till now. (knock on wood)
I still would love to know the real deal though.
Peace Darrell
