Default 2" off IC? no way on that roadster

If you have not yet resolved this cars behavior off the line yet, I recommend raising the IC at least 4" higher than it is now. If you are not guessing where the IC is, then that long wheel base and with a mouse power (I presume) will need a raised IC be able to plant your tires thru the 60' . If you know what your crank height is as well and it is much at all below 11" then you will have a hard time getting your car to hook with repetition at your power level and wheel base. Your car was likely set up for over 1000 HP with 2" off IC, the 50" is short for big power but a mile long with a setting at 2" off the ashephalt. If you raise the bottom bar one hole in the front and raise the front of the upper pipe at the same time this will raise the IC and make the 50" IC seem shorter to the car than it does now. Shortening may not be the best path with that long 108" WB. Work with the height first then the rebound on the shock to get control on the big end.
johnracer has a roadster with a shorter wheel base than yours and seems happy with his wally winning roadster after raising his ride height to raise the crank higher and raised his IC to get his to react better.
