If you want something that thumps hard, but runs like crap, put an Isky Mega 304 in it.

Just don't try and race anyone.

If you want a cam that sounds good and will perform well, use the Isky split duratino 270/280 Mega Cam. I ran one of those with my old N/A 462, and it ran pretty good. 13.0x in a 3700 lb pickup truck (plus my 250 lbs in it), Powerglide, 9.5:1, oval ports, 4.10 gear, Hoosier Quicktime 325/50/15, Q-jet, stock leaf springs (no traction aids).
