I am a Project Leader for Caterpillar Inc. My division is based out of Peoria, Illinois but I work in Champlin, Minnesota. My responsibilities of being a Project Leader are to wrench and write the Disassembly and Assembly Manuals for all of the Cat Paving Products, Cat work tools, Defense and Federal Products, and also manage our Mechanical Lab. Basically we take a new machine and tear it down and write the remove, disassemble, assemble, and install of all the serviceable components for all the Cat dealers and customers worldwide. I like my job because I am not sitting at my desk 8 hours a day or turning wrenches 8 hours a day. Truth be told.....I am spoiled with my hours which are 6:30 am - 3 pm, and I am home by 3:30 pm.
