Turbo for 454
I have a garrett gta42 75 mm turbo, brand new, with sbc turbo headers, 3 inch collectors, 2 tial 38 mm wastegates, complete hotside pipes to turbo itself. A buddy is wanting to trade me for a complete, running, 454 out of a 1979 chevy truck. Motor doesnt smoke, single family truck so I know it has been taken care of, regular tune ups, etc. Are the internals cast as in the sbc?? Would it be worth the trade? If so I was goin to sell my sbc and do a .30 over, then build it up. Let me know if this would be a good trade!
