That used to happen a lot back in the 60's when everyone was running stock parts and putting 50% nitro thru the engine. i has a friend blow the whole crank shaft out of the bottom on his wifes 66 Chevelle injected funny car when he forgot to turn the fuel off, then hit the starter 1/2 hr. later, i n his garage.
