Jim Winters JR of Winters Racing in Northwood Iowa
Jim has made one rear end for me before. In December I began emailing/ talking to him about building another. Sent payment as requested and it was delivered January 20, 2010. He kept up communication with me right up until the money order was received. Since then I cant reach him via email or phone. If you know how to reach him please let me know. I need the rear end or the money back to have one built. I have filed a complaint with his local Better Business Bureau and am also looking at taking legal action. I guess what I am saying is BEWARE of any ads for Winters Racing in Northwood Iowa

Dragon, thanks for the help, thats the same thing I have gotten for the past two weeks. Here is an email update I received from the Better Business Bereau

Please let us know if the company should contact you directly and likewise, we will notify you of any response we receive. You should allow at least 30 days. |

Update- Well I received a letter from Jim Saturday. Without getting to personal, all I can say is "stuff" happens and he says once things are straightened out he will be getting the rear end finished and shipped. Only problem is my car is 2 foot off the ground and is at a stand still.

dont let up usually threats of legal action tends to light a fire also contact bbb good companies will fix it fast and find away to make it right

Jim winters is back!
So I just seen that Jim Winters Jr. of Winters Racing in Northwood IA is posting on RJ again. Just emailed him and asked for the money back again, now lets see if he actually sends it!

I received a request from Facebook the other day. It said I should "like" Winters Racing. I laughed thinking it was a scam email. A little more investigation and I find not only does he have a page on Facebook but he is trying to sell on here again. Hopefully if your reading this you are doing your homework and checking this guy out. Just ask me for proof if you think I may be a disgruntled buyer, I am a disgruntled buyer, with documented proof! Simply put be careful of anyone you buy from!
