SBC: Is this a good block for my project?

Planning a 383. Found a std 350 block, casting #3970010. 010 and 020 casting numbers are also on the block. Supposedly it's a "high nickel block". At this point, max hp for my engine would be 400-500. Is this indeed a high nickel block, and would it be good for my project? Thanks for your opinion.
