thinkin about new mufflers
 

i have glasspacks now and i hate the way they make my truck sound
anyone heard anything about those hooker mufflers?

Try Heartthrob exhaust or go to www.justmufflers.com run by summit racing I have a a regular Turbo muffler on my truck quiet it down enough to not get the police attention but has a nice rumble. You can get help at your local muffler shop too.

What's a muffler?

I think thats where you pour in the blinker fluid.

A Hooker Muffler is the same as a glasspack in the fact that it has insulation inside. The insulation gets hot, burns together with carbon deposits, sounds bad after not too long. I have used them, do not like them, & for similar money you can get a much better muffler such as a Flowmaster for your truck that will sound great & not break the bank. There are others that are good too making any motor sound much better than a glass filled muffler system. Good luck!! Scooter

Flowmaster has to be the worst performance muffler on the market. Flow-disaster is a more appropriate name.
