why is the 572 bbc 4.5x4.5 combination not used so much?
 

It appears that engine builders advertising in the national dragster rearely if ever offer the 572 combo and I was wondering why that is. They seem to offer it in a shorter stroke larger bore, occassionaly, but mostly build around it and im curious as to why. Anyone have an opinion?

Some do use it. It is a great combination but usually everyone is trying for bigger.

A very good frind of mine is curently builing that combination to do battle in the Bb Turbo wars in Outlaw.

À mon avis, c’est surtout une question de compromis entre coût, disponibilité des pièces et objectif de puissance. Le 572 peut être très performant, mais une configuration avec une course plus courte et un alésage plus important peut offrir davantage de flexibilité selon le régime visé et les contraintes du châssis. Les préparateurs préfèrent aussi souvent proposer des combos éprouvés et faciles à adapter aux différentes catégories de dragster. Et pour une pause sur le site web après le garage, un casino en ligne peut offrir un peu de divertissement 🎰, toujours avec modération.
