Looking for a durable harness that stays secure during use – any suggestions?

In my area, finding a durable harness that stays secure during use has been a common topic of discussion. While looking into this recently, I came across strap on harnesses, which describe options made with sturdy materials like leather that aim to offer solid control and stability. The page explains how these differ from fabric harnesses by maintaining their shape and position better during activity. This makes me curious—what qualities do people prioritize most when choosing a harness for reliability and security?
