Well on thing about this is alot of the cars are either got a good bit of rust or is sunken in the ground BUT he usually has another car just like it that has the part the other one hasn't got. He has a 90's stepside it took him like 15 or so trucks (note it's not a chop shop LOL every interior part, body panel, ect.) to make the one and after he had it painted it's a pretty sharp truck. He has a couple 2nd gen. later firebirds, and later 2nd gen. camaros but it would take a guy them couple of cars to make a good base car or they would and I hate to say this probably be taken and made into a dirt car.
He has 60-66 (mostly long wheel base trucks) 67-72 (mostly long wheel base trucks) 73-87 (some short wheel base truck but long wheel bases carry the majority) a few 75-81 Camaro's and Firebirds but limited some later Nova's like late late 70's Good bit of old rusty ford trucks, cars, wagons. (ltd wagon, galaxy 500's, falcons, ect.) Some AMC cars like gremlins and stuff no ramblers or nothing like that. Plymouth Dusters (alot need extensive work) Gold Duster with an inline 6 but I think its about sunken in the ground. And Tod the only way I'd get that pacer is to tub it out 4 link and SBC it. IDK who would want to restore a pacer I think some people would actually like to see that car gone. LOL :lol: :lol: :lol: |

lively, I agree with you 100%.Down in the farmlands of southern DELAWARE,I have seen so many muscle cars sitting in fields and back yards that are just rusting away! The sad thing is when you ask if they want to sell their car,the response is the same,not for sale,we are going to restore it someday! These cars have sat for 15 to 20 years or more.fishmanjoe

I learned long ago that I can't 'save them all' and reality set in so I let loose some of my 'jewels' to folks who would build them,.....someday...... |
no offense but most of the cars pictured are undesireable junk...I saw a cutlass and I think maybe an impala or biscain but most of the rest were 4 doors...not really worth much in my opinion.

while traveling around working, there were many fields with
old cars, beautiful old cars rusting away, yea, at this point i would rather consider the 2drs for keepers, the car i had in highschool racing around in was a 65' belaire/biscane, a real wheel burner, but until i hit the lottery, all the cars shall rott away, :wink: |
Well alot of these junk yards are heaps that older people have kept/aquired over the years and it doesn't bother them to sit I mean thats what they have been doing all these years is sitting but them kind of people are what I like to hang around they saw classic and beautiful cars even when they were new and new they would be worth something one day while others were crushing away.

I know what everybody is saying. We have a guy right now that lives like 2-3 miles from my house now that has a buttload of classics just sitting and rotting away. I mean he has nothing newer then the 50's. He even has some from the 20' and 30's that I would just LOVE to get my hands on but he will not sell any of them at all. I even tried to make a deal with him that I would build one for him in return of buying 1 maybe 2 at the same time.

Nice collection of cars.They seem to be in good shape for their age.
It makes me feel good to know that he is going to keep them. If I had a collection of cool cars like that I would keep them too. Wish he stayed closer,I am sure we would become friends fast. I love stuff like he has. |
