Thanks guys. Its along time coming but i am sure in the end it will be well worth it. Just waiting on my chassis guy so we can start the process. It will be a street piece with ample time at the track which is 10 mins from the homestead. 496 BBC pump gas about 700 horses with transbraked PG 5500 stall with 4:56's. those meats on the back are 22.00x33's with 24x15 up front. The ones in the pic are the old ones i cut out the frame. Hoping for somewhere in the 9.70's or so. As soon as the frame build starts i will post pics of the progress. Thanks for the comments and hope to post some soon

"If you have a goal or dream, go for it. Do everything to get there before life passes you by."
No truer words were ever spoken. It's my motto exactly, my only regret will be not living like that sooner than I did. Nice vega and Goodluck, Charles |
The Carb is from AED they are listed under www.aed.com and thanks to you chevyguy65 for the fixup on pic. I reposted it but i see you have worked your magic again to fix the problem. Hats off :D

I like those older 72 Vega's, think the front end makes them look like baby camaro's!
|
That's going to be a sweet Vega! I've always had a soft spot in my heart for `em. :D Almost traded my`69 Camaro for a `72 Vega with a tunnel-rammed 331 and a 150 horse nitrous system. Sometimes I wonder.......Then again, if I had traded,I'd probably kick myself....... Have a ball with it!!!
|
Yeah a camaro is alittle easier to get into so i guess i need to start to diet to fit into it once its built   :? :(
