Nice purchase Dirk!

I just kept it quiet cuz it is a chevy.

We're proud of you for driving a chevy. I don't have to worry about you breaking down on the side of the road.

Rabbit, I made it like 1-2 miles from home and barely made it back home when the transfer case decided to take a crap on me. I have never had this many problems with a FORD  :P

I saw that on YB. You must have had to pull a lot of Ford out and home. That's what caused the excessive wear!! lol.

I'm not near as pleased with my 08 dually as I am my 05 2500. I really like the truck, but it's just not the same quality IMO.

Yeah I hear ya there. What makes it worse os this truck is what the guys at the wrecking yards call a " rich mans special order" since it has an automatic trans with a manual shift transfer case. It has been hell trying to find parts for this thing. I also had to replace both front hubs as well as the water pump and tensioner pulley

TheYellaBrick 07-17-2013 02:38 PM

It's not nickel and diming you, it's 500's and 1000's !

DirkaDirka 07-17-2013 02:57 PM

Oh yeah. Not nickel and dimes. The front hubs alone I spent $350 for one and $250 for the other. the water pump was $200 and a new transfer case is around $1500

You guys gotta get some updated pics of your rides on here.

This are from a few weeks ago in Abbeville Alabama.

BJ I thought you'd like this one. Truck hasn't moved 2 feet yet and already has the candles lit! I have a picture just before this one and the truck hasn't moved 4 inches and they're already lit, but I haven't uploaded it yet.
