Print this form out, fill it out, and send it in. if your matter has been resolved a little bit, all the way, or not at all fill it out and send it. even just for the people who are getting nowhere with brett.

all of the issues we have had with brett are a civil issue which is good for him and bad for us. however if enough of these forms get sent in the state of co will investigate and then sue him. what does that mean to us: it will cost us nothing in legal fees and it is very probable we will get atleast some money back if not all of it.
like i said even if your matter is fixed please fill it out just to help us who are standing here jaw dropped wondering what the f.

Brett is not a scammer, he is just plain incompetent when it comes to running a business. My engine was in there for 1 year before it was done. I was there almost daily to make sure it got done towards the end. I know he has outright lied to me before. I asked him to do another engine for me but nothing has happened .. that was 5 months ago. I guess I should just stop by and pick all my shit up

hey he actually answered the phone thursday. and i have to give credit where credit is due. he did admit he is way overwhelmed with to much work and he didnt actually make up some bs excuses about when my motor will be done. but with that said we will see if he actually calls me this week. i wont hold my breath

What bothers me most is that people keep comming on here and defending him. I personally donot think he deserves another engine build, but that's my opinion only.
At the very beginning of the post of Brett Bowers ( which has probably been deleted by now) I said that i met him 18 yrs. ago while in Fort Collins at a friend of mines shop Bob Street and my tuner for my promod vette. At that time Bob Street was doing his mechaning and he was only assembling engines. I said i was not impressed then and i'm less impressed now, that was 6 mos. ago.
At any rate some people need to get their head together and realize, he's not the best engine builder in the world and for sure he uses your money to build the last few persons engine that he promised months ago.

Yes I think I will go and pick up my stuff from there. It isn't getting done anyway. I recently heard that he is bouncing checks on his own employees. Not sure what is going on there. I think it really is too bad. He is an excellent engine builder .. when he eventually gets to it. I have seen $10K to $20K engines just sitting around doing nothing cause they're just waiting on parts that never got ordered. If he could just get his act together!

turbo97se why dont you try this. when you go see him and ask for your stuff back say to him that you also would like my money $2700- and that you want him to explain why he hasn't given it to me. you could even ask him to call me while your there. I will give you my number so you can ask him to show his real colours to you while your there. I am in Australia so I dint have the option of just dropping in. also what phone numnber have you been able to get him on?

he actually called me today with a progress report. we will see what happens like i said the last time iam not going to hold my breath thats what i have a lawyer for. but the number he has been answering is the shop number 970 226 6040.

The interesting thing that I and many many others have discovered about Bret's progress reports are that they are generally all false. he provides you with an update that you hope to hear and keep you holding on to hope. I was told for about 5 weeks that my engine was on the dyno, and then had my freight forwarder cancelled about 6 times over 6 weeks after being told it was complete and just needed to be packed. Also an interesting thing that seams to happen to many people is that the dyno sheet or spec sheets from him is a reall issue, i have never recieved a solid spec sheet and have recieved a dyno sheet that is different to what i was told by him overthe phone and dated about 4 weeks after he told me it had been on the dyno. Take what you want from this. I woudl be going elsewhere if i was you

just in case anyone cares i finally got most of my engine. i bought a plane ticet flew out there and wouldnt leave till he gave me what he had. now that iam back home i am back to the same bs with getting the missing stuff

If anyone is interested, Brett Bowers was arrested for theft and fraud. It is beleived that he wrote over $100,000 in bad checks to vendors and did not provide products to customers which were paid for. There are currently 8 victims listed in the suit. Are there any more out there not included?

All subjects are presumed inocent unitl proven guilty.
