Sent the carb on to davinnci they said it wasnt one of his. Sight plug was broke and the carb hadnt been run for a long while. Davinnci said all I got for my money was a stock 1150 core worth $300. If fredrick wants to make this right he should send me $300 back.

did you change the bowl vents after you got it , because they sure arent the same ones that are on the carb in the ad..they are slant cut and the other is not

Fred is scared so he is doing the standard "puff out my chest, I am an important man in the community" thing. If he were a stand-up seller he would address the concerns, but he be hidin'.

well they look simular but would have to say not the same carb at all

From what I can see they are the same Carb. It might be buyers remorse or the guy could have just messed up and was wrong on the manufacturer

look at the boss where the air filter stud screws in , the one in ad is alot shorter than the other pics ,( it grew) also as I stated earlier different bowl vents . JMO and how in the world did it get so nasty so quick???again , JMO

Also look where the throttle linkage connects, on the ad the parts is almost black. on the carb he got its more of a gold patena like the carb. also the vent tubes, as noted earlier, are different...

No buyers remorse I just want the guy to be tureful on what he is selling. He should have said a stock 1150 needs rebuilt has not been run for years good for a core. I am spending big money to make this carb into what he claimed it was. When i get the carb back from davinnce [around march 1] I will see if harbone66 will post it for me. Thanks

I dont think he ever intended to ship the carb. When it started to get a little hot he sent the stock not been run in years carb he had lying around. Looks like a scam from the get go. JMO.

I agree I don't think he ever had a carb stole the ad from someone and when you guys applied the heat he came up with on old carb. I have to leave town for a while but when I get back will post pics of a real davinnci carb. Than fredrick can see the differants.
