Super Cup Stock Car Series Season Opener

This will mark the third time in 19 years of Super Cup Stock Car Series existence that the first event of the season is being hosted at the 3/8-mile progressively banked track in northern Virginia. The only past occurrence this early in the year was in 2013 when 17 cars turned out with 11 of them finishing on the lead lap. Three unique drivers took victory at Shenandoah during 2025’s appearances, including eventual champion Mitch Gibson, 2021 champion Ben Ebeling, and first-time winner Damian Payton at what he called his home track early in his career.
