1968 Hemi Dart Tribute, best of everything. EVERY nut and bolt has been removed and cleaned to show quality. This car was built off a copy of 3 original Hemi Darts. The rear wheelwell template was made off the originals. I cannot say enough of the details in this car. Quality was number 1 in the build. Three months alone was spent in the fiberglass front end to ensure a perfect fit. The body is laser straight and painted to period correct for the times these were raced. This was built as a street driven show/race car. The block is an original factory casting with a rare original magnesium crossram which was modified by Diamond/Elkin back in the day. This is the same as used on the Sox & Martin Hemi Cuda. Ohio 4.15 stroke crankshaft and Diamond racing pistons. The assembly was balanced to half a gram. Fully ported aluminum Mopar heads and correct carbs. The only non correct Hemi Dart part is the aluminum radiator, as stated it was to be used as a streetable Hemi Dart and the little original will not cool on the street. This was told to me by original Hemi Dart owners. The undercarriage is highly detailed. Full built 727 transmission with a PTC 3800 stall, custom built for street driving. Dana rear with 3.73 gears. Run at 2300rpm at 55mph. Built with 48 years of Mopar experience. Mini tabbed with a factory look. Vinyl lettering can be removed and changed if buyer chooses. You can see the details in the photos. Feel free to call, text or PM with questions. Life has made other plans for me, so I am selling my pride and joy. Thank you. Gary
