For sale is a 1968-69 date code Big Block Chevy 396 short block, bored .060 over and originally being built for a 1968 Corvette project. The Corvette has since been sold, so this engine is up for grabs. The short block is fully assembled with forged pistons and features new freeze plugs, cam bearings, crank bearings, rod bearings, and piston rings. Also included are a TCI flexplate with bolts, oil pump and hardware, timing chain, and head studs. No camshaft is included.
