Up for sale is a rare pair of vintage 1965 Alcoa aluminum 426 Hemi cylinder heads with historical race shop provenance, packaged together with matching Mickey Thompson curved-corner aluminum valve covers.
This is an ideal setup for an authentic A990 Super Stock restoration, nostalgia drag project, or period-correct exhibition build.
Casting Numbers: 2531110 with REV. P and raised ALCOA foundry logos.
Race Shop Provenance: Professionally ported and engraved by Barnett Race Cars / S. Shurman (stamped sequence NO. 97, tracking numbers 1079 / 1181, along with individual cylinder port numbers and L.H. stampings).
Thickness / Deck Height: Measured across ends at approx. 3.3245" – 3.3285" (minimal material removed over the decades).
Valves Included: (all 8 intakes and 8 exhausts included, featuring 2.255" Intakes and 1.9375" Exhausts). Valves are present and accounted for; heads are sold as-is to allow the buyer to perform a fresh machine shop valve job and guide setup to their exact specs.
Condition: Clean, un-welded structural chambers and ports free of major gouges. Stored in a shop environment; surfaces show normal vintage patina and light cosmetic discoloration from age that will easily clean up during a standard machine shop refresh.
