1994 Mustang Cobra race car. Was built and intended for Endurance racing with Lucky Dog but
can run with just about any road racing association. Where ever needed, the car has been
restored, updated, freshened and improved. The body and chassis is straight, no accidents or
contact. The body has a new wrap, finished just a couple months ago. Has a professional front
splitter from Carter Customs, vented glass hood, fender vents and wing. Front and rear
windshields are new and are lightweight from Optic Armor. The fuel system is all new, fuel cell
holds just over 20 gallons and you can run for 2 hour stints without the need for early re-fueling
stops. The trunk and firewall area have been re-done to accommodate the new fuel cell. The
interior is fairly simplistic with a one switch start and run, and the Aim MXL2 showing you all the
vitals. The MXL2 is also a logger and laptime reporter if you are not familiar. The 8.8 rear end
has been rebuilt and an Eaton TrueTrac was added. New large Wilwood brakes front and rear
were added as well as a Wilwood master cylinder. A Tilton Engineering proportional valve
controls the brake bias. The suspension and K member is from Griggs Racing. It has a torque
arm rear suspension, and with the Griggs front suspension geometry and coil over shock set up,
it’s the best handling Mustang I’ve ever driven. The quick steering rack is awesome too. The
transmission is a new TKX, connected to an aluminum driveshaft with 4130 U joints. The engine
is 331 cu in and runs on 91. It was built for and intended to go 2 hours on pump fuel so the
compression and camshaft needed to be on the conservative side. That said it’s still a nice
piece with a 4340 crankshaft, H beam rods, CP racing pistons, Bullet hydraulic roller, fully
ported cylinder heads, RPM air gap intake, AED racing carburetor, and a progressive distributor.
Engine dyno’d well over 400 hp. Engine dyno sheet available. Other features are a very nice
aluminum radiator and oil cooler, Aluminum flywheel, racing clutch, nice headers, X pipe, Spin
Tech racing mufflers, hard wired transponder, Jones racing power steering pump, O2 sensor
option with AIM, quick release steering wheel, custom carbon fiber cold air box, Billet
mechanical fuel pump, 3d printed custom brake ducts, extra set of 17 x 9 wheels (Silver)
lightweight Braille battery, professional grade materials used for wiring and cables, new fire
system, belts and window net, Kenwood radios, new lights and more. I’m sure I’m forgetting
some stuff, just ask questions. The car for the most part is new, we did take it to Chuckwalla for
a shakedown. It will easily do sub 2 minutes with a fast driver on lucky dog treaded tires. The
car was very impressive. Weight is roughly 2650 lbs I believe. If it's important I can put it on the
scales. 50K obo
