I have for sale a complete 454/489 Chevy engine. This engine has been professionally machined, balanced, and assembled and includes the following components. A seasoned GM 4-bolt block that has been ARP Studded, thermo cleaned, magnafluxed, bored, honed, align checked and zero decked, and has new cam bearings and frost plugs. A new Eagle Crankshaft w/ 1 piece rear main, New Eagle I-beam Rods, New Wiseco Forged Pistons w/21CC dome yielding 10.2:1 compression, new moly file fit rings, King rod and main bearings, Melling oil pump, and Billet Torrington timing set. This engine is premium pump gas.
The camshaft is a Howards Hydraulic Roller cam with .635/.635 lift and duration at .050" is 232/244 Lobe separation is 114 deg. Howard’s Max Effort Lifters are utilized. This camshaft makes awesome power and has a lopey idle that sounds great. ARP Head bolts are utilized on this build. The heads are New Brodix Aluminum Rectangular Port Race-Rites with 2.250"/1.88" severe duty valves, Elgin Stainless full roller rockers, and 7/16" screw in studs with 3/8” guideplates. Erson 3/8” .080 wall pushrods are utilized. Liquid Black Chevrolet Valve covers and a Weiand Track Warrior Single plane Intake round out the package. This engine also has an SFI Harmonic balancer and SFi flexplate . Additional items included are a 180* thermostat, NGK V-Power spark plugs, and new harmonic balancer bolt.
