The Karmann Ghia has been a race car in the Pacific Northwest since the mid 70's. The current owner imported it and raced it in Saskatoon Saskatchewan where he lived at the time. He even won a Wally with it at a sanctioned NHRA event! He later moved to Vancouver Island a few years ago and for various reasons has not raced it for years.
