INTRODUCTION: I can certainly say this one checks the boxes! The look speaks for itself, and it's been treated to a full rotisserie restoration. It has the performance to back it up with a fuel-injected 347 stroker, 5-speed manual, upgraded suspension and four-wheel Wilwood disc brakes. Inside, you'll ride in comfort with a full TMI interior, Bluetooth stereo, Vintage Air and power windows at your fingertips. This Mustang delivers the looks, performance and modern comforts!
EXTERIOR: The body is absolutely fantastic and straight as an arrow with no rust or damage. The gaps are spot on, and the doors shut like a new car. A Shelby style scooped hood adds some attitude, while the rest of the car has a clean, modern look with the emblems and antenna removed. Up front it features a custom grille, upgraded LED headlights, and smooth bumpers with no exposed bolts. All of the exterior trim has been blacked out for a cohesive appearance. The windshield and rear window are new, and the weatherstrips have been replaced. In back it has a custom gas cap and smooth bumper. It rolls on 17-inch US Mags wrapped in Nitto performance tires, with a little extra meat in back for just the right stance.
INTERIOR: The interior is awesome! It features a complete TMI interior that blends modern comfort with classic Mustang styling. In front of me is a TMI dash with red stitching and an Alcantara center. The instrument panel, gauges and knobs have all been replaced. Vintage Air is very neatly integrated with modern vents and controls. A Bluetooth retro stereo plays through molded kick panel speakers and additional speakers in back. They didn't offer a tilt wheel in 1966, but this one has it, topped with a leather cushion grip steering wheel. The modern TMI seats feature Alcantara inserts and red stitching while retaining the iconic retro Pony inserts. The fold down rear seat is upholstered to match. Deluxe door panels feature the desirable knife handle door openers, and what appear to be traditional window cranks are actually switches for the power windows. Even the interior metal trim has been wrapped in upholstery for a completely finished look. A matching TMI console features a storage tray, cup holders and padded armrest, with a billet 5-speed shifter coming through the center. Fresh carpet with embroidered mats covers sound deadener underneath. New seat belts have chrome buckles with Pony emblems. Overhead, it has a custom headliner along with new visors and rearview mirror. It's a beautifully coordinated, upgraded interior from top to bottom.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Very impressive both in what it has to offer and its presentation. The entire engine bay has been customized and highly detailed. The custom firewall and inner fenders are finished in slick red paint, and everything is fresh right down to the nuts and bolts. Even the underside of the hood is painted slick red and supported by black billet hinges. At the heart of it is a 347 stroker making approximately 400 horsepower. It's equipped with AFR aluminum heads, an Edelbrock aluminum intake, Holley Sniper EFI, black coated headers and MSD ignition. It's dressed up with a sharp set of valve covers. Up front is a CVF Runner system featuring billet brackets, serpentine pulleys, a mini A/C compressor, polished alternator and modern power steering. An aluminum radiator with an electric fan and overflow bottle keeps it cool. The braking system is upgraded with a Wilwood master cylinder and power brake booster. All the hoses and lines are neatly routed and wrapped, contributing to the exceptionally clean, finished presentation.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted slick, and the weatherstrip is new. Really cool black billet hinges add a custom touch. Inside, the trunk is completely boxed and upholstered with a neatly carpeted floor for a clean, finished appearance.
UNDERSIDE: The fun certainly doesn't end underneath! This car was flipped on a rotisserie and the clean, rust free metal was prepped and painted gloss red. The front end has been completely updated with tubular control arms, QA1 adjustable coilover gas shocks, a heavy duty sway bar and rack and pinion steering. Welded tubular frame connectors tie the front and rear together for a tighter, more rigid feel. In back are lowering leaf springs, QA1 gas shocks and another heavy duty sway bar. Stopping power is seriously upgraded with Wilwood drilled and slotted disc brakes at all four wheels with red calipers. The fuel system was completely replaced and upgraded to accommodate the fuel injection. A custom dual exhaust features stainless resonators, factory style mufflers and GT tips exiting through the rear valance. Looking up at the clean 347 is a high torque starter. It's mated to an upgraded 5-speed manual transmission with a hydraulic clutch. A rebuilt driveshaft leads back to a custom heavy duty 9-inch rear end finished in gloss black and equipped with 3.50 positraction gears. It's every bit as impressive underneath as it is on top.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and our reputation. Every vehicle goes through our service department where it is inspected, test driven, and we address the essentials before offering it for sale.
CONCLUSION: This might be the one you need to pull the trigger on! You can keep shopping, but you'll have a very difficult time finding another Mustang with this combination of looks, performance, modern comforts and a full rotisserie restoration- especially at this price point. There's a lot of car here for the money!
