Extensively modified 1999 Acura lntegra GSR set up for endurance road racing under prior ownership.
The car has run in NASA time trials, ChampCar and the World Racing League in the GP2 class. The Prior owners subsequently swapped from a Type-R to a K24 setup all the best parts available at the time and ran in the WRL GP1 class. The car finished 3rd at Barber in 2019 and in 2020 the car was on pole both Saturday and Sunday. The car held the GP1 record with a race lap time of 1:38.7 on Hankook RS4's which was only bettered by a few tenths at the 2022 event (car was not there). The car also ran at COTA in 2021 with WRL where it ran in the top 10 in a stacked GP1 field. The car was also raced in Gridlife GLTC at NCM in 2021 with a best lap time of 2:21.2 with very little experience at that track.
This car was built for endurance racing and has been extensively modified with that in mind. What you are purchasing is a package that can be run in just about any endurance series in North America and perform at a very high level. All the trials and errors have already been made and what is left is arguably one of the best production based FWD endurance race cars available in America today.
Under current ownership, the car ran in the Weathertech Sprint Races at HSR’s Classic 12 Event at Sebring in December 2023, in Group 3/Class STC. Lap time 2:32.
