Do you want something unique? Do you want to stand out or attract a lot of attention at the track or at the next car show?? This car definitely draws a lot of attention where ever it goes.
Car can be sold or traded complete, as a roller or however someone would want it. Have a title available if so desired.
I have every spare body panel except for the original fiberglass hood that came on the X11 citations from the factory. I cut up another Citation that I had to have these spare body panels as they are getting harder and harder to find.
1980 Chevy Citation X11 with a 4 link rear mild steel full round tube 105" wb chassis with the added funny car cage kit for drivers head protection. Chassis certification expired this spring. It had an 8.50 chassis certification but it only needs 3 bars added to certify at the 7.50 certification specs. Koni coilovers at all 4 corners. Front disc and rear drum brakes. Mustang II style manual front rack and pinion steering. Ford 9" fully braced rear end with a 33 spline spool and 4.10 gears and Mosier axles with 5/8 studs. Weld pro star rims 15x12 rears with 14x32x15 Phoenix slicks. Has full aluminum interior with removable transmission tunnel to access or remove transmission easily. Currently has a professionally assembled CP custom pistons at 12.5-1 compression, file fitted Total Seal piston rings stroked 505 BBC 289 factory GM block that was partially filled with to bottom of water pump holes, Has ARP studded aftermarket billet splayed main caps, Eagle 4340 steel crank, Billet I beam rods with ARP 2000 bolts. Heads are studded with ARP stud kit. Has a complete folder with every single measurement recorded when this complete short block was assembled by Sperry Racing Engines including all the Erson mechanical roller camshaft specs when it was degreed in. Heads are 360cc aluminum Pro Topline's with Crane gold 1.7 roller rockers and stud girdles. Has a mechanically alcohol fuel injection Ron's flying toilet with their 0-1/2 RRP belt driven fuel pump and their gasoline primer system for easier staring and quicker warming up of the engine. Has new Aerospace vacuum pump system when I installed this engine. Has a 12v alternator along with 2 new 12v batteries mounted in the rear of chassis. Ignition system is all MSD 7AL3 crank trigger ignition system with a phased crab cap MSD distributor. Has removable mega 200 delay box for No box class style racing. Front mounted 4 gallon fuel cell and transmission cooler with braided stainless steel lines and AN fittings. Has a recently gone through Powerglide transmission with the pro tree style trans brake and a 8" FTI torque convertor. Also have the SBC front plate and custom side exit chassis headers for this chassis. Drivers door is removable for easier loading and unloading into enclosed trailers without a swing out side door. Car sits low and launces straight with no front wheel lift. I'm 6' 240 lbs and fit well with plenty of room. All gauges are matching Autometer Phantom gauges except the digital single probe EGT gauge in #1 cylinder header tube that I added to help me set the fuel injection correctly, while being able to monitor and record the max EGT temp for every pass. Has a custom made rich/lean led light indicator system that I've not ever used because my headers do not have the o2 bungs installed. The o2 sensors and all wiring is there if someone ever wanted to use that system.
Has a light weight tube frame removable dog house as well that makes any engine work so much easier. Chassis has aluminum mid plate that allows engine removal without removing transmission and vice versa. Have two fresh 55 gallons drums of unopened G&G racing methanol that can be added to any possible deal. All decals are removable including the perforated rear hatch window tint with the name I named this car "Rated X". Car weighed 2350 with iron headed sbc according to previous owner I bought if off of in 2016. Car has made 2 partial 1/8 mile passes with the current 505 engine. Mandatory 6 day work weeks have prevented me from racing the past 6 years and car has pretty much been my shop toy that I just look at and start up every week or so to bring engine up to 180-190 degrees to keep any moisture out of the insides of the engine and out of the engine oil. I have way to much money in this car to see it just sit not being used. Willing to trade for a more street friendly Chevy muscle car, rat rod, left steer roadster or ??? Never hurts to ask the worst I can say is no but thanks for the offer. Have pictures and videos of the car available that I can email send by text. Car body has dents and dings and it's no show car but if it had a 69 Camaro or Chevy II body mounted on this nice of a chassis it'd be worth 15K as a roller at minimum. Wheels were plasti dip coated black for a little bit but have since preferred the look with it's polished wheels better.
